Family Scholar House's mission is to end the cycle of poverty and transform our community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve life-long self-sufficiency.  Supportive surroundings, education, and meaningful work are central to building a sense of positive self-worth and mental health, a key focus of KKG's national philanthropic efforts.

The Louisville AA partners with Family Scholar House throughout the year by volunteering for events that benefit their residents, such as Project Prom and Reverse Trick-or-Treating, and donating school supplies and other items.
