Family Scholar House's mission is to end the cycle of poverty and transform our community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve life-long self-sufficiency.  Supportive surroundings, education, and meaningful work are central to building a sense of positive self-worth and mental health, a key focus of KKG's national philanthropic efforts.

The Louisville AA partners with Family Scholar House throughout the year by volunteering for events that benefit their residents, such as Project Prom and Reverse Trick-or-Treating, and donating school supplies and other items. Promoting Positive Self-Esteem in Girls of All Ages

BAYA, which stands for "Beautiful As You Are," is a non-profit organization created to give a safe place to girls who never fit in and are always looked at as "different." They are also a place for girls to talk and participate in fun, interactive, self-esteem-building activities while having fun with other girls.
